Should you build an MVP or the full product?
An MVP is quoted in this market at AED 25,000 to AED 50,000 and 6 to 10 weeks, which makes it the cheaper way to find out whether anybody wants the idea at all. The full product is the better answer once the question has moved to whether people will keep using it, because that one is decided by the parts an MVP leaves out.
What is an MVP for?
Finding out whether the problem is real, as cheaply as the question allows. A basic first version on one platform is quoted at AED 25,000 to AED 50,000 and 6 to 10 weeks, and for a market still waiting to be tested that is money well spent.
It works best when the idea is a bet on demand. Who signs up, who pays, who comes back a second time: those answers arrive from something rough, and paying more to reach them buys precision the decision will ignore.
Anyone who says otherwise is selling. If a rough version answers the question, the rough version is the job.
When does the cut-down version stop answering?
When the question moves from whether people want it to whether people will stay. Retention is decided by the parts an MVP removes first: the speed, the sign-up, the empty states, the second and third screen of every flow.
It also stops when the audience judges quickly. A product sold to businesses, to regulated buyers, or to anybody who already runs on a tool, gets compared with what they have, and the comparison happens in the first minute.
And it stops when the rebuild is the real cost. A version built to be thrown away usually gets kept, because a business that has found demand has better uses for the next three months than rebuilding something that already works badly.
What does each route cost end to end?

Run in sequence, the slow end of that is close to a year across two engagements, and the second one begins from a scope the first was built to avoid writing.
